The CIF price of medium grade laterite nickel ore has decreased by $1/ton. Currently, the price of Ni: 1.3% nickel ore is at $32/wet ton, and that of Ni: 1.5% nickel ore is at $45-47/wet ton. Recently, the transaction price of high nickel pig iron has dropped to 975-985 yuan/Ni%, and coupled with poor market sentiment, the futures nickel price has weakened and declined. The Chinese domestic nickel pig iron market has cooled down, and the price of nickel pig iron has decreased. The enthusiasm for nickel ore procurement in nickel pig iron plants is not high.
