By the end of June 2020, Gabon manganese ore sales generated US $685 million, an increase of 6.4% compared with the same period in 2019. This is a surprise, as the average price of manganese ore has fallen by 21.9% during this period. The domestic output of manganese ore and sinter increased by 43.0% to 3.98 million tons. Under the influence of the reliability of transportation equipment, the export and sales of manganese ore increased by 51.8% and 48.9% respectively.
