In June 2024, China's stainless steel exports amounted to approximately 452,800 tons, a decrease of 1.1% compared to the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 31.9%. In June, the net export volume of stainless steel in China was about 321,500 tons, a month on month increase of 13.5% and a year-on-year increase of 42.8%. From January to June 2024 (the first half of the year), the cumulative export volume of stainless steel in China was about 2.3648 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 16%. From January to June, the cumulative net export volume of stainless steel in China was about 1.257 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.1%.
