According to statistics from Tianjin Customs, in the first half of 2024, Tianjin Port imported a total of 63.203 million tons of metal ore and mineral sand, an increase of 21.5% year-on-year. Among them, the import volume of manganese ore and chromium ore was 9.322 million tons and 8.048 million tons respectively, both ranking first in China's ports.
