Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA), a leading ferro alloys manufacturer in India, posted a marginal decline of 1% q-o-q in ferro chrome output at 65,992 t in Q3FY24 (Oct-Dec'23). Sales of the same also fell by 3% q-o-q to 65,676 t. The slight downfall was due to a difficult global environment where stainless steel demand has been muted and ferro chrome prices have softened.
