After the end of summer, the demand for electrolytic manganese in the European market has recovered, but it has not yet affected prices. However, the seller is optimistic about the short term.

In the first week of September, the price range for electrolytic manganese (99.7% Mn) in the domestic European market was 1,960-1,980 US dollars per ton FCA Rotterdam. Sometimes, higher quotes can be found in the market, but transaction confirmation has not yet been obtained. However, according to market participants, prices have hit bottom and there is currently a large amount of bidding from consumers (about 2,000 tons in total). A European trader commented, 'The market is gradually recovering, and it's too early to talk about the mid-term, but I hope to see prices rise in the near future.'

At the same time, Chinese suppliers have attempted to increase prices, with quotes from China rising by an average of $20/ton on a weekly basis to $1880-1900/ton CIF. The seller argued that the price increase was due to better demand from European buyers and a more favorable situation in the domestic Chinese market.
