The high carbon ferrochrome market maintains a weak and stable operation, with prices ranging from 8,400 to 8,500 yuan/ton in China. Although there are no obvious signs of fluctuations in the overall market, with the continuous weakening of raw material cost support and downstream stainless steel plants reducing production and undergoing maintenance, coupled with the current macroeconomic downturn, it is heard that some low-priced actual orders are seeking to sell at prices slightly lower than 8,400 yuan/ton, and the future market is still under weak pressure.

The market for medium and low carbon ferrochrome has once again experienced a slight decline, with overall supply and demand skewed towards an imbalance. Additionally, the support from raw material costs has weakened, resulting in frequent low-priced transactions.

The market lacks obvious positive support, and with the downward trend of chrome ore futures prices, and the continuous decline of downstream ferrochrome prices, chrome ore spot prices are down slightly in China. The suppliers have offered prices to seek more shipments, resulting in a slight decrease in actual transaction prices.
