The price of silicon manganese increased in India

In the Raipur, Durgapur, and Visakhapatnam regions, the price of silicon manganese (60-14) increased by 2,750 rupees/ton ($33/ton) month on month, reaching a two month high of 69,000-69,800 rupees/ton ($827-836/ton). At a time of tight supply, the strengthening of steel prices has pushed up domestic silicon manganese quotations. The offshore price of silicon manganese (65-16) at Visakhapatnam and Khordia ports in India is $926 per ton, an increase of $19 per ton compared to the previous period.
