WBMS: Global refined nickel market has excess supply of 279,400 tons in Aug

The latest report released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS) showed that the global refined nickel production was 279,400 tons in August, and consumption was 274,800 tons, so there was an oversupply of 4,600 tons.
Meanwhile, global nickel ore production was 332,200 tons.
In the January-August period, global refined nickel production amounted to 2.2478 million tons, and consumption was 2.1816 million tons, so the excess supply was 66,200 tons. During the period, global nickel ore production totaled around 2.39 million tons.
