Indian silicon manganese market remained stable overall, with a slight decrease. The ex factory prices in major markets such as Raipur, Durgabur, and Vizag were 92,500-94,700 rupees/ton (1,107-1,134 US dollars/ton), with a slight decrease of 600 rupees/ton (7 US dollars/ton). The reason for the reduction is that manufacturers have lower acceptance of high quotations, while traders have lower quotations. However, the recent high cost of importing manganese ore indicates that domestic silicon manganese prices may rebound.

Similarly, the domestic steel billet prices in India remain unchanged this week. The factory price was 44,500 rupees per ton (534 US dollars per ton).
