The demand for Iran chrome ore is increased

Because of tight supply of chrome ore at Chinese ports, the demand for Iran chrome ore from China is strong and the market prices increased recently. The Iran exporters reveal that the demand from China is increased,but they do not have enough chrome ore spots to sell. The price of Iran chrome ore 40-42% lumpy price is up to 230-235 USD/mt CIF now. Some even give offers as high as 240 USD/mt CFR. The Iran exporters are optimistic about the future market. 

A trader said that they had sold 500 tons of chrome ore 40-42% lumpy by the price of 235 USD/mt CIF last weekend. The trader get more enquiries from China in September. The rising demand will cause the market price to rise further. 

Another company also reveals that the demand from China is increased. They had made a deal of 1,000 tons last week by the price of 235 USD/mt CIF China. They had sold 4,000 tons of chrome ore in August. And they expect that the sales will be higher in September.
